zigzag
I've recently developed an interest in reverb pedals. Which ones do you guys like? I noticed that Fender has recently come out with a new one- Marine Layer Reverb. Anyone tried it/like it/recommend it?
saturn
I can only comment on the one I have. It's a Zoom MS CDR70 (Chorus Delay Reverb). It's got a lot of great sounds, including reverb. I just find it a little complicated for live use. I pretty much only use it for the built in tuner, and some chorus settings at gigs.

Dub-T-123
Haven’t tried the new Fender. What sound are you looking for? Spring, hall, plate?
jdgm
Last year I got a Marshall Reflector for half-price in UK. Does what I want and more....

zigzag
Tc electronic HOF mini TC Skysurfer. rct The TC Electronics pedals seem to rate consistently high regardless of who is rating. The HOF2 has mash and shimmer features that sound pretty awesome in the youtube reviews and three custom presets that can be set up through a smart phone. Crazy. All for about $135 at Amazon. I'm still open to other recommendations.

Dub-T-123
Yes. Hard to beat the Hall of Fame in that price range. There are more expensive pedals but the HoF is very good
Mr. C.O. Jones
Electro Harmonix's Holy Grail, or the Holy Grail NEO sound real good. Yup, EHX makes nice reverb pedals, I couldn't be happier with my Cathedral. The only negative thing about it it's the price.
dReit1
HOF, Cathedral both great reverbs. You might also try a LovePedal HSR3, I've been using one for a couple of months now and really like it. Hall Spring or Plate in a small footprint.
krock
I have the hall of fame 2. I've previously owned the hall of fame and hof from tc as well. I use the 3 toneprint slots as well as the mash so it was a worthwhile upgrade, plus they've upgraded the processor. I spoke to their support team not long ago about potential features they could add to the software and they confirmed they've had other people request them too and they'll be working on it. In this case it's that you can basically use the effect that slot 3 has in the editor. I use wet/dry so its nice to be able to pan in effects

I noticed that Fender has recently come out with a new one- Marine Layer Reverb. Anyone tried it/like it/recommend it? No, but I have the new Fender delay pedal, "Mirror Image Delay", and I like it a lot. In fact I find myself using it all the time instead of reverb. I used to be someone who almost always had a little reverb on always. Not anymore. Now I almost always have my Mirror Image on. I really like the tape delay setting. zigzag
I was very tempted to get the Fender, but I ended up with the TC HOF2 thru Amazon. It is a remarkable pedal. The regular plate, spring, hall, and room reverbs are excellent, but the church and the shimmer settings are awesome, plus the custom print tone options are incredible. I usually use amp reverb with (Hardwire) delay and (Boss) tremolo pedals just enough to know they're there, but the TC reverb pedal has just an incredible sound. I'm inspired to record. Probably gonna record my version of Joe Bonamassa's "Drive" and really lay it on thick with church and shimmer reverbs.
