LPguitarman
My son is in the market for a Flying V. He is looking at a 2016 T in Wine Red. Are model years year specific? In other words, if you want a 2016 T, you would have to find a used one, or one still in some music store's warehouse. etc...? Am I right in thinking Gibson does not make previous year models anymore, only if they do a re-issue?
LPguitarman
Yes if you want a '16 since it is now '18 they are not making '16's any more. This will help. https://reverb.com/marketplace?query=2016%20T%20in%20Wine%20Red%20Gibson%20Flying%20V Awesome, thanks for the link. I'll have my son check it out. LPguitarman
The cheapest ones were $899 I think. If he gets one he better get all Michael Schenker on it. That's one of the main reasons he wants it. I also did a search on Reverb and sent him a link to a brand new Hard-shell Case. Sacrilege to buy a guitar of any value and not have a good case for it. SteveFord
Speaking of the Flying V, I recall them going to a Wee V one year. Does anyone remember what year that was and did they revert to the previous size? I'm not talking about the Star Trek logo thing, by the way.
