Gilliangirl
Play Something We Know by Adam Hood, about 10 minutes ago. I just love that song. Easy to play, great lyrics. Edit: oops, I forgot the 'on what' part. Played on Elmo. The Gibson does this one better but Elmo just happened to be the one out this afternoon. By tonight, they'll all be out, cases strewn about, sheet music all over the place, and me in my glory LOL

Farmer Roy
Antonella's Birthday by Tommy Emmanuel on a Lowden F12 I won't even try to play it exactly like Tommy and it's been a struggle to learn what I have been able to play, but it's such a beautiful melody that it's been worth the effort. http://www.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DAl6QFAZAFVU

Jerry K
Love is Here to Stay by George and Ira Gershwin. I have a fakebook with the melody and some chords in F, which doesn't work for my voice but I needed to get clear on the melody so playing in F for now. Will switch to C or something once I have the tune down. This is a very nice song and somehow seems to spin off all kinds of interesting harmonic ideas for me. I've been playing it on an Epiphone EL-00 because a young labrador has been about and I don't want anything to happen to my 'good' guitars. Otherwise it would probably be a cj-165.
