Late amp and pickups post

So last Saturday I finally got those Klein 1955 Epic Series pickups and Fender locking tuners installed in my 1999 blue/purple - don't know the exact color name but it looks both blue and purple depending on how you look at it and how the light hits it - M.I.M Fender Stratocaster and, boy, do they sound amazing! Very crisp and clean. They're supposed to be based off of 1955 Stratocaster pickups. And my dad also surprised me with this Peavey 6505 Piranha head for an early birthday present, haha. It's a hybrid head. Has one 12AX7 tube in it. Anyway, here are some pictures:

Happy Early Birthday, your gear list just keeps on getting longer. msp_thumbup.gif Mine is around the corner too the 22nd. I got this new MacBook Air computer early. Still figuring it out.

Mine is actually April 13th, so right at a month early, haha. Haha, don't feel bad. I'm about to turn 26 and I'm still a cave man on certain things. I still have a standard slide phone because I feel I have no need for an iPhone or phone of that nature since I have a computer. If someone were to hand me one of those types of phones, I wouldn't know what to do with one, haha. [laugh]

OP, I think that you forgot to list your power supply for your board in your gear list...

I'm using some 1 Spot stuff for effects and I have a BOSS 9v adaptor and my Pigtronix Class A Boost pedal came with an 18v adaptor. For my DigiTech RP300 processor, I'm using the power supply that came with it.

I used to really dig lollars but man, those kleins sound amazing, better than the lollar mim i had before. Wish i could remember what they were, but those 55s are nice and the colour of your strat is cool too. Congrats on modding into a super strat.

Thanks! Yeah, these Klein pickups are amazing! I've never tried Lollar pickups before, but I've heard good things. Which Lollar pickups did you have? I wouldn't mind trying a set one day.

I recieved the strat in a trade, it already had them in it. The previous owner told me what they were, but i forgot and then i ended up trading the strat as part of a package for somethin else. I think Lollars and Bill Lawrence make great pickups, and for the telecaster the twisted tele sounds best to my ears, just phenomenal. i listened to those kleins on youtube, they sound terrific.
