Gibson CS
Very true... I met Jeff years ago in Toronto. Nice guy, very down to earth. Indeed a talent. Well miss you...
Gibsonboy
I love this incredible guiatr player. He has a wonderful technique and a bloody hell sound!!! I'm fond of his playing style. I know he has play with B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, George Harrison, Mark Knopfler and Jimmy Rogers! Now I'm sad of his disappearance. Condolences to his family. ;)
Riffster
Sad indeed, he was so young and talented... If he died at 41 that means he was on the movie Roadhouse when he was around 22...
Plank_Spanker
Very sad to hear................................. A talent that overcame many odds, and a genuinely warm person to boot.
rjay777
Too bad most people only recognize him from the cornball movie "Roadhouse". He was a fantastic player and singer.
kevin134
RIP Jeff... Always missed him when he came to town, had tickets once and for some reason he had cancelled out and George Thorogood replaced him.....
Riffster
Too bad most people only recognize him from the cornball movie "Roadhouse". He was a fantastic player and singer. At the same time a lot of people were made aware he existed and started listening to his music. He was the only good thing about that movie. It can be hard to reach the masses when you play blues, not the most mainstream music unfortunately, so any positive exposure blues guys get is good... Gibson CS
He has a Jazz radio show here in Toronto... They are playing his last show as we speak right now... Very sad. Another great player has gone to rock n' roll heaven.
Raptor
He played Halifax a fair bit and I saw him a couple of times. He was a great player and I love his cover of 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps'. I will be buying his cd when it is released in April.
