Mr. Paul
I think quite a few of us have sampled the J45 Vintage model with the baked top and it gets mentioned quite often when the subject comes up of favorite models in the current Gibson lineup. I don't recall anyone talking about the J200 Vintage model though. They sure look nice. Who's played one?
drathbun
I haven't seen one in any guitar shop yet. I've seen a couple of Bob Dylans (Pinoy got one of them) but not one of the Vintage models yet. I can tell you that the Adirondack spruce top makes a huge difference. I owned a J200 Standard and an SJ200 Golden Age at the same time for about three months and the difference is remarkable. JuanCarlosVejar
I own a True Vintage from 2007 and have played a righty J 200 Vintage at NAMM a few years ago.It was a nice guitar but I prefer the sound of non torrified wood. JC
Mr. Paul
Since my go to reference on new Gibsons is Wildwood's site, I think I've overestimated how many of this model are out and about. Wildwood has five of them listed now. I own a True Vintage from 2007 and have played a righty J 200 Vintage at NAMM a few years ago.It was a nice guitar but I prefer the sound of non torrified wood. JC JCV, do you feel the same way about the J45 Vintage model?
