Gibson Artist
My mother remembered every word, despite the original song being from 1936, she loved this version, courtesy of the Quebe Sisters and Norm's. Some of you music aficionado may remember this oldie but goodie. Btw, anyone know what that cool Gibson archtop is?

merciful-evans
An L5 would be my guess. The tailpiece looks different (older?). Agreed. Fine performance.

I think you're right on the L5, flippin beautiful. I got serious gas for one of those, im guessing they are worth a gold mine?
jdgm
An L5 would be my guess. The tailpiece looks different (older?). Agreed. Fine performance. Not an L5....IMO.... Tailpiece, fretboard inlays and tuners are similar to ES175, though obviously not a 175 either. The same tailpiece, inlays and tuners can be found on an L-4, L-7 or the Super 300 (though that had no cutaway AFAIK). I'm going for 1950s (or reissue) L-7C on this one. Retired
Very good performance, My guess is Tobaco Burst? Ha Ha...I was watching the girls with the violens, though and not the guitar.
pippy
...I'm going for 1950s (or reissue) L-7C on this one... I think you are pretty much spot on. I think they might have gone on for a while longer, though. Ian C. Bishop states they were discontinued in 1970. Stunning guitar!............................. As far as the performance? What's not to like? Shades of the Andrews Sisters? My own personal favourite version of "It's a Sin..." is the well-known Fats Waller cut. Good Clean Fun! Thanks for posting. It put an even bigger smile on my already smug countenance! P.

cody78
Yes thankyou that's it....whadda babe! [love] OMG I want one!!! I...need one!!! They had a second hand one for sale at Coda Music recently, but sadly it had suffered a headstock break. Think they were asking around £2200 for it on their website. It was one of the reissues from a few years back. However, if you fancy a 50's one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1954-Gibson-L7-C-Tobacco-Sunburst-GAT0221/332441294743?hash=item4d670b9797:m:mwSUOBjH9YWUPZfB6H6-LTw
