Gibson’s tone even sweeter with a capo?

Didn’t George Harrison play his Gibson far fretted up the neck on Here Comes the Sun? Sounded awesome!

Yep. Seventh fret for Here Comes The Sun on his sunburst J200. Although in this photo he's capo'd at five.

There have been discussions about capo's enhancing guitar tone....

After initial scepticism I'm coming round to thinking that yes they can......[thumbup]

My premium Thalia capo, IMO partly due to it's heavy weight, does seem to improve sustain somewhat....

It is also very shiny and has a splendid abalone shell insert

yea, they do make a difference in many aspects..

As a solo acoustic performer, you almost can't "NOT" use a capo.

I use a few, Drop D, Short Cut, Double Drop D, along and in tandem with a standard capo.

Essential tools for me.
