Pin
This might have been put up already: https://reverb.com/item/7316018-gibson-master-museum-hummingbird-koa-ren-ferguson-custom-acoustic-guitar On Reverb for nearly £30,000. I have to say, however, that the workmanship is simply stunning.
D-28
I drive a car that doesn't cost half that. Nice as all get out but I can't justify it.

Black Dog
I like everything about it except the fretboard. That's a littler too busy for me.
kidblast
The detail work is as impressive as the $40k price tag... All one needs after the purchase is a museum to display it in.

Obviously (I hope!, I can't even begin to afford it but if I could I would buy it without a doubt (or order one like it) and it certainly would be played and not hidden away. kidblast
the good news for you and me Pin, is @40k, we'll never know if we'd play it, lock it up in a vault, or put it in a sealed glass case!

True enough kid. But - by George - it is great to dream!
SteveFord
That is some really impressive work. A bit above my pay grade, I'm afraid. Shame as I'm just itching to bang out Smoke On The Water on that bad boy, too.
tx-ogre
Holy crap...to both the incredible detail and the price tag.
fortyearspickn
I could never imagine being comfortable playing that. And owning it just to look at. Well, that's what museums are for.
saturn
I like everything about it except the fretboard. That's a littler too busy for me. I agree. I like fret markers. But then, it is kind of a moot point in this case, isn't it?

bobouz
Not being very keen on excessive bling, I prefer the 2004 Koa J-185 that guy is selling.
sparquelito
I agree with all the posts above. A gorgeous museum piece, but too gaudy to be a working man's player.

At 1/10th the price - a guitar you can actually play. Zero bling - just inner beauty!
Marky Forrest
That is amazing. A little too much on the fingerboard for me too but heck, I guess I could get used to it.
JAF
A very beautiful guitar but at this detail, especially on the fretboard, this is more like a piece of art than an instrument.
Cabarone
I think I saw that on that MTV show, "Pimp My Guitar"...
