drathbun
I was flailing away on my SJ200 and thought I'd capture a little bit of the flailin' wailin' with my favourite Jimmy Webb song. Please forgive the flubbed lyric... of course it is "stand the strain" not "be the same". Good thing I'm no lyricist! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pok9OvhL9A
j45nick
Nice one! That's one of my favorites, and the J-200 is perfect for it.

I don't know that I could reach those notes in El Condor Pasa! However, I do have some S&G and Paul Simon songs in my repertoire; Homeward Bound, Scarborough Fair, I Am A Rock, Kodachrome, Bookends, Sounds of Silence, America. I'm flattered by the request. :)

Jinder
Great stuff as always, Drath. I love Jimmy Webb to pieces, wonderful writer. Harry Nilsson’s version of Campo De Encino is one of my favourite pieces of music ever, wonderful song wonderfully rendered.

drathbun
Thanks, guys! The latest videos are all Buc's fault. He posted his performance of "Whiter Shade of Pale". I'm usually reluctant to post videos of me playing live. I like to record multi-track so I can do the 100 or so takes required to play something through without it being FUBAR. But Buc inspired me to try doing things a little straighter. I still record the audio through my DAW while shooting the iPhone video so I can add some processing (a little compression and some reverb). I promised Buc I would add to his version of "Whiter Shade of Pale" and I'm working on that.
