cdeelstra 1
Hello, I have a 2013 Signature T. Just went to change the strings, dress the fret board, etc.. I noticed when all the strings were off that the posts screwed into the threaded sleeves for the bridge and tailpiece in the body are loose. All 4. As in wiggling in the threaded holes. Is this a big problem? Should I shim myself (with wood matches) or bring somewhere for repair? I just said "****" and threw some strings on it, stays in tune... so im at a loss. I've asked a few locals but most have no clue.. so in other words I will not be bringing to them for repair. Any thoughts? Thanks.
brad1 531
Unless they are screwed down all the way really tight; yeah they may move a little.
Black Dog 574
If the screws are wiggling slightly in the threaded inserts that's OK. If the stud inserts are moving in the wood, that's different. Sounds like yours is OK.
