merciful-evans
I've got some vernier scale calipers. Thats about as near as I'm getting to that task!

jdgm
I'm interested in this too but haven't gone to the trouble (or £££) of having a guitar done. There is the Earvana one, there is the Buzz Feiten one which is much more and you need a special tuner setting or something and you can't do unison bends. The last bit puts me off. Anyone know any more?
rct
Feiten and Earvana are both perfect for all of those nights you look out at the crowd and they are all holding up Peterson Strobes to check your intonation up the neck. This stuff has been around forever and they just keep selling it. rct

There's lots of gimmicky things out there that's supposed to make your guitar better. Maybe I'm just lucky that I've never needed such things. Pinch
My understanding is that the guitar is not a perfect pitch instrument and inherently in its design will have slight "imperfections" in pitch throughout the fretted notes. Yup.
merciful-evans
fanned frets are another option, but I reckon plain old fashioned nuts & frets are good enough for rock n roll.
