Mickthemiller
Sorry I can't print a picture or an item number but there is a 2005 hummingbird for sale on eBay uk that somehow looks odd. The pick guard does not look right - too big - and the shoulders don't look square enough. I have asked if it has original pick guard and been told it has. Can anyone else take look? It's listed at £1775. I'm just intrigued! I will add that most everything else looks very Gibson, to me.
Jinder
It’s a Hummingbird Artist, a Guitar Center exclusive model-slightly narrower upper bout and more pinched waist, the same body shape as the Songwriter series. Someone has put a repro Hummingbird guard on it which indeed doesn’t look quite right. Considering the side crack and the fact it isn’t a “real” Hummingbird, it’s massively overpriced. They’re nice guitars, but have minimal resale value compared to the real thing. I’d not want to pay north of £1000 for it in that condition personally, but it could be a killer “player” guitar for the right buyer if the price comes down.
