L5Larry
My wife found this photo in a advertising trade magazine. Being the good wife she is, she ripped the page out of the magazine and brought it home for me. I'd never actually seen one until a few months ago at my local GC, they have one behind glass. ChanMan
1983 Fender Elite Strat. Only made for 2 years or so. Some say production started in May of '83 and stopped in July of '83, but most references I have found say they were manufactured up until '85. Tim Plains
Looks more like a build up of rage than a smirk. Probably because he hates what Gibson did to his beloved design... http://www.lespaulguide.com/ Click on "The Man behind the guitar" and you'll find it. Murph
I remember a picture in the "Tube Amp Book" by Aspen Pittman, which (my copy) was worn out a decade ago, a picture of his studio with a White SG. Funny how history looks, sometimes. Best to ya. Murph.

djroge1
How about my Fender SRV Strat. There supposedly only a small handful of them made with Brazillian rosewood fret board which this one has. Fender won't (can't???) tell how many were actually made with brazillian rosewood - what I've read was anywhere between 50 - 500. All the others are Pao Ferro.
