C165 Rosewood Vine

Recommended Posts

I have a CJ165 Rosewood but not a Vine

Dave - I've been curious about the CJ-165 for quite some time now, but have never had the opportunity to actually play one.

A couple of things I'm wondering about:

> What is the actual neck width at the nut? I believe it's supposed to be in-between the two common sizes, but in reality, does the profile make it feel more like 1-11/16" or 1-3/4"?

> It seems like I've read that the neck has a bit of a 'V' profile. Is that true on yours, and what year is yours?

Any info would be appreciated!

1.725" wide. Feels similar to my other 1.75"

Standard low profile. .824" thick at the first fret, .887" thick at the 10th fret.

2007 model

I think FZFan's got one.

Haha! I know he's a big fan of those ambiguous questions!

A contact is Looking for a C165 rosewood vine

Anyone have one please?

You mean, to sell? Will he made an offer that cannot be refused? I've admired many a CJ165 (or more commonly "J165") on ebay and reverb, but I've never seen one with a vine inlay.
