Anybody Here Use Casein picks ?

I've never tried one. I don't think I've ever used real Tortoise Shell either, although at my age I actually probably have and just don't remember.

 

I just wondered if anyone here uses casein on a regular basis and actually prefers it over other material, and if so, who is your maker?

Red Bear picks are casein and are pretty good, but finicky. Without a very firm grip (no wiggle allowed!) and a straight away angle of attack they click on the stings a lot. I do like them but don't have the consistent angle of attack to avoid pick noise. Blue Chip picks are much more forgiving of slack technique.
