thegreatgumbino
Paul... who is the Aaron he is referring to? He said Aaron made Jubal guitars. Looks like his last name is Cowles. It appears his shop is still open, but Aaron passed away in 2013. Mr. Paul
Thanks tgg, I wasn't familiar with Aaron Cowles. If he were still with us and I were to have him make a guitar for me we'd have a chat about that sunburst
SirNed
Good to hear about Aaron. I never had a chance to meet him, but did meet his son (nice guy, too). Aaron was good friends with my grandpa, and was sort of his protege. Steve (the son), told me that the Jubal name came from my grandpa. I remember, there was an instrument that he had invented and gave that name, which is a biblical reference to the father of all harp and flute music.
