A lot of us have experienced this moment. After a few months you'll have to see if this one actually bumps another out of your playing rotation for good. Then the soul searching begins. Tone redundancy has usually been the prime reason for me putting a guitar up for sale, and I seem to have finally bought, traded, and finagled a grouping where each is unique to my ear. It's pretty much killed my GAS within the dollar range I can operate in. That's the goal, right? Curing the GAS. Can I get an 'amen'? Doubt it.

Why would you want to cure GAS? I thought the goal was to treat it, so that it became a chronic condition rather than an acute one.

You sound like my luthier. He said after he finished his work, he sat and played it for over a couple hours and debated on calling me to tell me it was finished.

Haha! I guess you know you got a good one when that happens. You're lucky to get it back! Congrats!
