blindboygrunt
Someone on Facebook posted a little video of a guitar problem Shows the back of the guitar and his fingers lightly pushing down on it and there is a squeaking coming from it .... like a squeaky mattress effect ... What’s going on there ? Loose braces or perhaps the centre strip has came undone slightly ? Sorry, I know you all can’t actually see the video , just wondered about it. OldCowboy
Dunno, Grunt - hope there's not a rodent nesting in the thing.
j45nick
Sounds like a loose brace to me, or a loose something else nominally glued to the back: kerfing, centerline strip.

That's definitely a loose brace. It happened to my SJ200. I thought it was one brace. It ended up being like six or seven! Have it checked! E-minor7
Really don't know - the exact reason is beyond this radar. But here is another suggestion : I think guitar-players should exchange the phrase "he has a screw loose" with "he has a loose brace". Not that it's necessary regarding any of the Board-members of cause. But when talking about people who can't differ between fx rose and hog and maple slope and square adj. ceramic and rose tulips and butterbeans Bird and Dove 24,75 and 25,50 coated and un-coated phosphor bronze and nickel bronze open and full of socks scalloped and un-scalloped chocolately and dry mojoed and mint bone and tusq zingy and tinny , , , , you continue the list. Yes, folks like that who just drop their jaws when terms like these come up - they have a loose brace.
