ksdaddy Posted December 24, 2018 Share Posted December 24, 2018 This 1982 Gibson Chet Atkins CE was on eBay a little over a year ago for $3000. It might have sold for less, I don’t recall. I missed it. My own fault. It was for sale for what seemed like a few months and I kept being wishy washy. This guitar was part of Les’s estate and is documented. I emailed the seller and asked if he would pass along the messsge (and question) if they would consider selling it. Extreme long shot but I thought I’d post it here as well. He told me that Les's music room was surrounded by guitars in cases. He said Les had a lot of guitars. I'd love to own one, but I know it would be well out of my pocket book range. The PBS documentary "Les Paul-Chasing Sound" has some great footage of Les at home with his guitars & recording equipment. He seemingly saved everything!
