ducrot59 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2018 I sent a 1951 CF-100E to Gibson for evaluation and repair in March. It needed to be virtually rebuilt and the repair list was extensive (and expensive). I agreed to the recommended repairs and was told in June it would take about 3 months. As of Christmas I still have not received it, nor a credible explanation for the delay, other than they had to move and it delayed them six weeks. A week ago I was told they were "checking". Any suggestions?

retrorod 93 Report post Posted January 4, 2019 Just curious...what was the nature of the repairs agreed to? Complete rebuild sounds major. Beyond the abilities of a competant local luthier?
