shawn hamilton Posted January 4, 2019 Share Posted January 4, 2019 Hello and thanks for adding me to the forum. I play guitar for a band in Houston Texas called Crank Case. We are a guitar driven band established in 2006. I also wanted to get some info on a guitar I feel is a rare one. It is a 1977 Gibson Custom Les Paul in solid Silver built in Nashville in October of 1977. I have seen similar models listed as a batch of 50 made for Guitar Center as a Silver anniversary model but most of those I have seen have gold hardware. Mine is in great shape with original case with chrome hardware. All original. I am wondering if this was an employee made guitar or if there were others made similar.
