bigtim
Anyone here who actually work at gibson? I came across a guy on eBay that is in China who is selling counterfeit gibson guitars. I even took and reported it to eBay. But it is not done any good and ebay still has the guys stuff listed. What could we do as a group about this? Here is the link and you can click on his other items and see all of the other fake gibson guitars for sale too. It pisses me off. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2018-New-Electric-Guitar-Solid-mahogany-Flame-mapletop-in-black-Chrome-/163430714050

I pointed out it was not a USA Gibson, and he should relist it for what it was.. I don't know if ebay intervened, but I got a response back from the seller, we went back forth a few times with email. nothing crazy mind you, but he finally gave up, the auction was pulled. Big Bill
I'm sure this isn't one of these situations. I wonder if somebody ever owned a fake Gibby believing it to the real deal, just to find out it was a fake when they went to sell it. They find themselves in a situation like The Kid just described, feeling he's legit, then finds out that The Kid has proven the case that it's a fake Gibson. The counterfeit reporting page is indeed the best place to report these but our Legal team is already aware of this seller and is working with eBay to shut down these listings. Thanks! http://www.gibson.com/Support/Report-Counterfeits.aspx
