Rabs
Hmmm.. Cant really see the point.. He says he finds it hard to compare to any other guitar.. But it really doesn't sound that different to me?
jdgm
I can't see the point either. It doesn't sound CLEAN to me - a bit fizzy. And the 3-way switching (is that an active circuit, or passive and therefore subtractive, I wonder?) doesn't make enough difference IMO - from what I can hear in the vid. Wrong end of the chain. But I suppose someone had to do it........

Its one of those cases where just cos you can do something, doesn't meant you should :) But good luck to them, I guess theres no harm in it, it has some novelty value. Until someone tries to play one outdoors and it starts raining :D This says that it adds $1200 to a guitar order. For me you can get much nicer stuff to make your current guitar sound better for that money.. Like one of those distortion pedals with valves in it, and have lots of change :) https://www.premierguitar.com/articles/28390-ruokangas-unveils-valvebucker Edited January 22, 2019 by Rabs
Twang Gang
The difference between "bridge" pickup position and "neck" pickup position was hardly discernable. The middle position was much fuller sounding, but this is not something I would run out and buy. I don't see any advantages over a traditional two or three pickup set up.
