d12bn
I have a Les Paul autographed by BB King. I'm building a display case and would like to use the same liner that is in the guitar case in the display. Anyone know where I can find this fabric or something similar? I called Gibson they pointed me to TKL who builds their cases. So I called and emailed them with no results. I have samples of fabric coming in but nothing close yet. Any help would be appreciated Thanks
Gibson CS
*OUCH* Why would you want to de-face such a gorgeous guitar? Couldnt you find a scrap of paper for him to sign?
GuitarJunkie
I was going to say if you want to sell the guitar, let me know. I'll even let you keep the autograph. I figured I'd keep my comments to myself since it wasn't really pertinent to the topic, but since deepblue opened the door...
Stewie
My first look would be a fabric store, and then an upholstery shop. They might be able to turn you on to a supplier. Are you talking about the White material in the new cases. I have some that are black, and I have a 335 case that is Pink.
d12bn
I've been to every local fabric store and they did not have and could not tell me where to find a similar fabric. Then searched the Internet but its hard to tell from photos, the samples I received so far looked close in the pics but not good in person. If I new what the fabric was made of I may be more successful in my search. Anyway thought I would ask. Thanks
retrosurfer1959
the only thing I've seen that was close was a felt from a pool table company don't know if it's a standard color or not but a friend did a table in a game/music room a few years ago and the table felt was a pretty close match.
