djroge1
It's about time someone made this public. I think we've all known this but everyone was afraid to say it. I think it's part of the socialist/communist agenda.

James Allen
I gotta say that the we Conservatives appear to be a minority on the forums at times. Maybe we should start a club. :)/

grampa
Oh no! Obama's a commie!? How come no one ever told us. At least now that this fear is implanted in us we can be ready for the evil doers and commies and whatever else we're supposed to be afraid of. RudyH
He may not be a commie, but I personally know of 500 people who were fired this week in different companies, and about 30 million dollars worth of projects stopped directly because of employer uncertainty about the future due to impending Washington policy changes. That, mind you, that is just this week. In 25 years of consulting, I have never seen such a wave of financial recalcitrance hitting the U.S. business world at once. Not even 1987 can compare. 2001 was nothing compared to this. It is all directly, and categorically, because of Obama, what he personally has said, and what he personally has done. Everyone with a job or money (or wishing to have either) should be worried about this cat.
djroge1
It doesn't take a high school education to see how the democratic party is only a few short steps away from socialism and that socialism is only a few short steps away from communism. They're all headed in the same direction. My High school senior even pointed this out during the months leading to the election last year.
NeoConMan
All the years of Bush Derangement Syndrome and the Liberals running around crying about the sky falling.... Now when things are REAL, and getting ugly fast, seems all is quiet.... Did you see our new Attorney General Eric Holder yesterday saying the "assault weapons" ban is coming back? There's more, this is just the start of what they wanna push. Get this, they're using crime in Mexico as an excuse! Obummer is the best gun salesman I've ever seen. This is one market that's not suffering, EVERYTHING is sold out. Ammo is impossible to get for many calibers now, prices are thru the roof, and shelves are empty. It's GOOD to be in the gun business.... :-)
James Allen
It's been a tough year in Cleveland, Tn. Plants are closing, people are losing their jobs. Many smaller businessess, like my wife's, are afraid to hire or to put money into growth because they know their taxes are getting ready to be raised. Last year, due to federal tax, state tax, city tax, county tax, my wife's business paid enough money to the various levels of government that we could have given each of our employees a one dollar an hour raise AND invested in growth. Now, tell me, what's more important-some fat politician getting money to pay for a bridge to nowhere or putting people to work and paying them more, which increases their lot in life? Hmm . . . SPENDING ON HOPE AND CHANGE! Obama's plan scares me, folks. Plain and simple. Hey, Neoconman, I've never been banned from a forum for my views. But I've sure as hell been slapped around in some because I believe in lower taxes, smaller government, working for a living, buying only what you can afford, loving America, etc. There are some good Conservatives on the forums here, but we're all getting tired of the same old fight. It's like religion . . . you can't convince a non believer to have faith. You can't convince a lib to believe in the power of Conservatism. They have to come to it themselves. Kind of like you can lead a horse to water . . .
Californiaman
Try living in a state like California. We passed a law a few years ago essentially cutting illegal aliens off from social services and the Cal State Supreme Court called it "Unconstitutional" and overturned the decision of the people. Now we're damn near broke financially, companies are leaving the state, they're raising our taxes again, and we're still being overwhelmed by unnecessary services for illegal aliens. They get free medication, but we have to pay full price. Hey... they're on their way to your state too. And Neo they're also talking about every gun owner to reregister every weapon they own (paying all fees of course), every reloading machine you own, and on top of that pay to go through training for the privilege of using your guns. Oh yeah, and that training will reflect each individual gun you own. Pistol training for pistol, revolver for revolver, shot gun for shot gun, etc, etc... James Allen
Insane. Absolutely insane. We seriously need a revolution at the ballot box, people. NeoConMan
Founding Fathers were just as afraid of the masses as they were a King. It really never was intended for ALL men (and any women) to ever have the power. Hmmm.... I'll quibble slightly with you on this one. Founding Fathers wanted to ensure the people had the ability to resist tyranny and rise up if needed. The whole idea of keeping a Democratic government (not Democrat party) in place is that you don't fxck with the people. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness is more than just a catchy phrase. Liberty is defined (by me) as the ability to live your life without some @sshole jumping out of the bushes to yell "Gotcha!" everytime you walk out your front door. This refers to taxation we suffer from now, laws we are subjected to (traffic cameras) and the whole politically correct clown show. You can't do or say anything without being fined or chastised. You can't drive without being villainized. God forbid you make a $100,000 a year and expect to keep 40% of it....

NeoConMan
neo i am so glad you're back!!! (no sarcasm' date=' at all)[/quote']Thanks Fenn. Yeah, there's an assumption that you should be informed well enough to know what you're voting for, even fighting for. That requirement is long gone. Stupid people vote for stupid people. My whole premise (I'll be adding it to my website in more detail) is that I never felt any shame or a need to apologize for being a man, employed, financially stable, married, white, Christian, or owning guns. People take shots at me all the time and wonder why I shoot back....

Not that I too don't welcome a new voice, but it's as if Moses has just parted the Red Sea and they feel all empowered. NeoConMan
This forum had a decidedly Liberal lean when I "left" in October. People are waking up with a hangover, the conservatives are finally speaking up. True here as well as every other forum I frequent covering a broad range of interests.
