also try not to forget the libs paying homeless people to vote and then driving them to the polls' date=' the busing of college kids to polling sites so that they could vote twice, ACORN, and the dead people that voted in the JFK and LBJ elections. [/quote']

And your source for this is......................Rush Limbaugh? Fox "News?" Larry the Cable Guy?

Well' date=' you don't have to be smart to "beat" anybody. It helps to be without ethics, or to be so driven to grab power that you will do whatever it takes. Smart is incidental. [b']Sounds like a liberal means of getting elected...[/b]:-$

I don't know that W is the "World's dumbest man." I do think that regardless of any measurable intelligence he is without introspection, curiosity, empathy...you know, all those liberal values that figure into being a whole citizen.

Empathy for who? The whales, the "poor", the terrorists, the abortionists? Where is the liberal introspection? Where is the liberal curiosity? Who do libs have empathy for?

I get the conservative value system, and basically respect the view while disagreeing with some (most?) points But the tactics so often employed to make the case are just revolting, and the **** Morris, Karl Rove, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O, Sean Hannity, and the rest of the wack jobs on right wing cable/radio are not advancing the cause with their smears. I really thought we put the "commie" BS to rest back in the sixties. Sigh

Are you a little paranoid about these guys? You can easily find a view more to your liking, by not watching the ONE cable channel that offers a different opinion than you like, or not listening to the ONE or TWO radio shows that offer an opinion different from yours. I have to look a little harder to escape liberal bias on tv, since there is MORE than one station offering an opinion different than mine. Why are the libs so scared of Rush?

Multiple' date=' diverse sources, including history books regarding the voting by dead people. I'm sorry that you didn't hear about it on MSNBC. You should try reading...it's fundamental![/quote']

This doesn't really answer the question. What multiple, diverse sources? What history books? Ann Coulter history books? What does MSNBC have to do with anything? Try being rational, both in your views and your answers. I agree that reading is fundamental (to a reasoned life), but so is thinking. You can't answer the question, so you condescendingly imply that I don't read. That is the sort of silly tactic that Bill O'Reilly might employ but is beneath you.

That helps move your argument forward....

I am starting to get the feeling that I am debating with a 13 year old.

No. sorry....a 12 year old.

If you are going to gain any respect for you point of view then be a little smarter about your choice of words.

Moonie,

I used kind words and documentation in my posts, until I found out that you guys can only read 2-3 lines of text before you get confused. The kind words didn't get me anywhere either, so now I just call em like I see em. It's more fun for me this way. You guys are never going to change your mind. I'm never going to change mine either...so there ya have it!

What is up with you [and murph] with the insults. I don't get it. It is such juvenile behavior.

I understand and respect your point of view. I don't understand why you have to turn it into a school yard fight.

Of course they will be. After all ' date=' who would get millions of dollars to campaign for a job that pays a few hundred thousand a year and gives you a historic house to live whilst you are doing this job? BUT.... maybe the guy doing the job will NOT be thinking about how he can "get one over on that OTHER party" and actually consider the poor schmucks that voted for him .... just a thought... [/quote']

It's a very nice thought, but I don't have that kind of faith in human nature. Let's say all the Republican Voters built the Reform party up and the Republicans sank to a Third Party anoyance. Do you suppose that Karl Rove would just throw in the towel and find something more constructive to fill his time? No Way Man.

He'd s find a loosing Reform candidate and talk him into allowing Karl to "Save his campaign". Karl (or someone like him), would start an ad campaign slaughtering the character of his opponent, using Ideological wedge issues that may or may not even exist.

There will never be an Honest Party, because people aren't honest by nature. It's up to us to keep our politicians honest and recognize the difference between an Issue and a Debate Tactic.

Will mine stay in tune better if I turn the pegs to the right or the left ???

Honestly? If you turn them from the Left to the Right it will stay itune better. If you loosen the string to pitch, it will relax after a second. If you tighten the string to pitch, it will stay in tune better.

Point taken...

I'm immature for my age though, and I'm reliving my youth anonymously on public forums...=P~
