djroge1
I know there was a thread a month or so ago about Nashville, but I need to pin-point some ideas. I'm headed there for a conference March 7-11. My free time is limited during this time. I have all afternoon/evening on Sunday and perhaps a couple of hours after each days conference ends around 6pm. not sure about this though. I was thinking about Gruhns and I may have time to visit one, perhaps two other places. What do you suggest? Grand ol' Opry? Gibson factory - they don't give tours from what I remember though? AXE®
Gruhns is a must. And if anything is happening at the Ryman Theater. It's a must also.(right next to Gruhns)
Riffster
With limited time? What AXE said. All the Honky Tonks are right there where Gruhn is on Broadway. Tootsies, Roberts, The Stage, Rippy's. Also Right there is Jack's Barbecure. The Gibson Showcase (and store) is at Opry Mills Mall. You may get lucky and find the place fully stocked. The Grand Ole Opry is walking distance from there. I would recommend to grab a "Nashville Scene" it is distributed for free and you find it in a lot of places. It will tell you what's going on that week. Food and Music.
