QuestionMark Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 There certainly were some nice acoustic Gibsons on tonight’s Grammys show... QM aka “Jazzman” Jeff
actaylor Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 I noticed that, too. Maybe now that I'm a Gibson owner again I'm paying more attention...
QuestionMark Posted February 11, 2019 Author Posted February 11, 2019 The number of cool acoustic Gibsons on the show was great exposure for the new Gibson owners and their product. QM aka “ Jazzman” Jeff
uncle fester Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 There certainly were some nice acoustic Gibsons on tonight’s Grammys show... QM aka “Jazzman” Jeff who played what (guitars most importantly, songs if you recall..)?
QuestionMark Posted February 11, 2019 Author Posted February 11, 2019 Bunch of younguns, doing songs I never heard before...is all I can really recall. More clearly in my memory was a bunch of beautiful sunburst acoustic Gibsons. QM aka “Jazzman” Jeff
zombywoof Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 Buddy Holly played a J-45. Wait a minute. He never won a Grammy. I knew there was a reason I never watch the thing. I tell you what, The day Iggy Pop or Chuck Berry and Bob Marley (both obviously posthumously) are nominated I will tune in.
docr Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 Just watching the Grammy show without advertisement interruptions in German TV. Yes - most of the acoustic guitars are Gibsons - and they are always nice. Have seen a J45 looking guitar with a pickguard in Southern Jumbo style but with dot inlays in the neck. Does anybody know the modell name of this guitar? And there are a lot of Fender basses, Gretschs etc. - I am surprised to see so many real instruments in this show.
livemusic Posted February 12, 2019 Posted February 12, 2019 Yep, several acts with guitars and I noticed Gibson. Good!
