Dadgad1046
I bought a new damaged in transit Les Paul with the trans red on it. I had to do a neck repair and would like to get it back to a reasonable red blend repair. Tinting some clear may be the best shot. Does anyone have any advise on this? If all else fails I could just paint the neck black and and call it a player and roll on.
Big Bill
Did you purchase it knowing that it was damaged? If you can provide pics that would be helpful. Edited February 14, 2019 by Big Bill

I probably would never have bought this particular Guitar unless it was a screaming deal for being damaged. A bolt on neck Epi with a broken head is not the worst thing. If all else fail buy a replacement aftermarket or used neck. The actual repair is done and it turned out well. The finish is the final part.
