Flying V 2017 Body Size

Hey guys,

I have a question regarding the body size of the 2017 USA Flying V that came in black and white. I know it has the half guard, but is the body any smaller than the standard shape, or the 2018 shape? I know the 2016 was smaller, but I feel like the 2017 looks smaller (narrower), probably because of the half guard. Also, I'm wondering if the body is thinner like the 2015 Japanese market V that came in black and vintage burst. I liked that model but it was neck heavy due to the lack of body mass.

I would like to buy one of these 2017's now that they're discounted but I don't want a smaller/thinner body.

Thanks for your answers!

I don't know, but I'm interested in answers to your questions too, just curious. I'd like to see specifics int the answers, too. What measurements are smaller/narrower/thinner. Actual dimensions.

I don't have the answer but I'll try to get mine measured. I have a 1981, 2007 and 2018 Flying V. I've heard that the newer ones were smaller but I'm not sure when they got smaller or if they did. I really enjoy my 2018 V although my 1981 is still my favorite.
