The Dirt - Motley Crue biopic

I always like Mick's rhythm playing a lot more than his lead. When I saw MC on the Theater Of Pain tour I think it was, a Japanese band called Loudness opened for them. I couldn't really understand their singing, but the guitar player was way better than Mick IMO. I heard he OD'd later that night though. msp_crying.gif

I was a fan back in ye olden days but they were never very good live. The band wasn't bad but their singer left a lot to be desired. We watched their final show on Axxess and it was pretty terrible. Once again, the music wasn't bad but his vocals weren't there. Mick's guitar playing is pretty solid and he holds it down pretty good as the sole guitarist.

That video is sure to be filled with girls, drugs and excess. We'll probably end up renting the video at some point.

So, has anyone else seen this yet?

I watched it Friday night and actually thought is was good. I liked the way they would occasionally break the 4th wall and speak directly to the camera. It skipped a lot of details, but that's understandable since it would take many more hours to cover it all. Overall I thought is was honest and pulled no punches, showing the good and not-so-good stuff.

Saw it on the weekend and liked it, but yeah, they skipped a lotta stuff, maybe they should have made it a 2 part movie, cuz everything felt so fast

i used to be a fan when i was a kid and they had Dr Feelgood out, but never got the chance to see them live. like 8 yrs ago they came to my city but tickets were crazy expensive i didnt go see them haha

Yeah I watched it too...

Was ok... It annoyed me when they kept talking at the beginning on how different they were.. Pffftttttt, they were the last on the scene doing exactly the same old thing.

But it was an ok watch and confirms what a tit Tommy Lee is :D
