Only two serving and the woman was wearing gloves and picked the chips (fries) up with her hands, then handled the money after. I wanted a new strap but there was nothing to choose from as I wanted a woven and they were virtually all leather. Plenty of guitars and amps to look at, but nothing more than you could see in a shop. £15 to get in and I didn't see anything for sale that I couldn't get cheaper off eBay. So. My verdict. It was an expensive walk around that could be achieved for free on any Saturday. The only things that would make you go would be the small guitar makers. He said it was noisy and he wished he had used earplugs. He said the 'foghorn' signal meant everyone had to stop playing. Had a keyboard player that we called "noodles".. he NEVER stopped playing.... Drove the rest of us crazy. I actually shut the amp he was using off once.. The noise was dreadful. I thought there was a sound limit, but clearly not. On the Marshall stand people were blasting the amps. You couldn't talk over it. An American friend posted a link from a US guitar show that was exactly as described here. That was about 5 years back, and I recall being shocked at the time. I only just found out about it and have mailed them to see if theres any spaces... Shame I only just found out, I could really use a good show to get things going again for me. He said that he keeps a couple of tables spare and is really happy to work with Luthiers... So it looks like its on :D Im really chuffed about this.
