G Mac
Just thought I'd put this up for your pleasure. I think I'd like to see a hologram performance someday. I love anything that's 3D...holograms, Magic Eye, flicker cards, Sports Illustrated! Frank "live"!
G Mac
Not me. I saw the real Frank. If I want to see Frank live but not a hologram, I'll pop in a DVD of live concerts in have. I never had the opportunity to see him live though,I would have loved to. I find it interesting that these shows will be based around never released video and recordings from rehearsals in 1974... brad1
I'm guessing it would probably be quite interesting for a while, and then I would probably get bored with it after about 20-30 minutes in. Watching someone perform live is about an interaction with the audience and the performer. That is a large part of the fun I think. Otherwise you're kind of just watching a movie. :(
merciful-evans
I have to admit I'm intrigued. I cant really imagine it. It can only be a disappointment if you know what to expect.

Tekboy
There has to be VR porn. I did VR once it was loco. I put the headset on at Best Buy for a high end VR unit, and was on the edge of a balcony about four storie up. I looked around, and immediately took it off. There is a good reason to be sitting down when you put that headset on.
01GT eibach
I think for the people that really love the artist's music, I think it is a VERY COOL thing to go out and enjoy and celebrate them in a live environment. Is it the same thing as seeing a concert by that individual? No, of course not -- and it is not intended to be. It is just a celebration of that artist. They are also doing one for Dio that is to start touring in a few months, and one for Prince is also under consideration (doing one for Prince who was always all over the stage seems almost impossible, compared to artists who don't move much on stage like Frank and Dio). How about a Rory Gallagher hologram? I would love that, as I never really had the chance to see him. Probably not, as the general public would say "who is that?". A hologram that would make sense but they likely don't have the video to leverage it would be Hendrix. The Dio hologram:
