I think that is right round the time the braces were no longer scalloped. That could make a difference to me. j45nick Posted June 4, 2019 Share Posted June 4, 2019 Should have un-scalloped braces. Price seems fair if it doesn't need a neck re-set, but that's a big "if". Finish seems unusually heavily checked. Some of these J-50's with the light filler (rather than the dark walnut filler) can look a bit anemic at times, unless the finish is in really good shape.
