Jantone3
Hello, My grandfather recently passed away and left a sizeable collection of string instruments, Most of them being Left-Handed. One of them being This Les Paul that has a serial number of U02040683.. being listed as made in 2000 in the memphis/nashville area. Other than that I can find no information on it whatsoever. I've seen plenty of new models that look similar, as well as going to southpawguitars.com andd seeing what the Les Paul's are priced at on there. I'm just looking for any information or to be pointed in the right direction to figure out what it would be worth. I've provided pictures below and can provide more upon request. Thank you for the help in advance.

It's an Epiphone Les Paul - not a Gibson Les Paul - and that serial number tells us that it was made in the Unsung plant (in Korea) in 2002. As far as value goes? It depends to a certain extent on where you live. In the UK (for example) a brand new one costs roughly $450 and a 17 year old example might be around the $300 mark if it is in very good condition. I'd guess that they would be worth a bit less Stateside. Pip.
sparquelito
That's right, Pip. Fjestad's Blue Book lists that Epiphone Les Paul Standard (left handed) at $325 US dollars, in the condition on display (Excellent Plus). :)
