Holiday Hoser
won't keep me logged in and never remembers my password have to request a password reset everytime annoying...
E-minor7
I kind of like it, but can't really figure why it changed. Miss the 'who-are-on-overview' on the bottom of the side and inside the threads. And would have preferred a new different set of (discrete) colors. The ice-landscape-palette is as far from acoustic guitars as anything I can imagine. And yes, , of course I miss my dear Times New Roman too. .

I had the same problem until I used my screen name. In your case login with Holiday Hoser then your pw.
Leonard McCoy
Yes, that same problem had me hosed as well. Fortunately, using the screen name works.
Rabs
Too white.. Bring on night mode. I also liked the list of people at the bottom of the old one when you are in a thread you can see who else is watching.. I know its in the Whos Online bit but I liked the old way.. As been mentioned its just new.. Im sure I will get used to it and am happy that Gibson chose to not only keep it going but improve it.. It takes a crap load of work to make such a big change and overall its all working as it should.. Good job

BluesKing777
I voted “don’t care, just stay open” cos it reflects the whole company of recent.... But I am not sure why the look of the forum changed, it is a bit hard to read on my iPad, too light? They can only be spending money on website design to supposedly save money which ends up costing more usually, in my experience. Someone should explain why they changed it and the upcoming benefits. Otherwise, spend the money on R&D for a new acoustic or a new pickup system or a whole host of stuff! BluesKing777.
J-1854Me
A one-inch high unmoving banner at the top that wants me to shop and put something in my cart. Don't need that don't want that. I already did that.
fortyearspickn
I knew if I waited long enough, I'd finally agree with FZfan on something. I think it's great !
Bozz
The new look is fine with me. I'd like to see the new management bring back a " Guitars for Sale or Trade" section, like every other forum on the planet has.

blindboygrunt
If I click on a thread I am following it appears that it doesnt jump to my unread posts like it did previously I am getting a bit fed up trying to scroll through and remember the last thing I had read
j45nick
I finally solved my log-in issue, when someone in the thread on the new format pointed out the he could not log in with his registered name, and had to do it with his screen name. The admin verified that this was correct, and that the new system would not support logging in with your registered name. I've been using my registered name for logging in for the last decade. If I had known this change had been made, I would have followed it. Instead, I wasted days logging in dozens of times and having been repeatedly locked out. In any case, it's ok now that user Rab identified the issue.

Hall
Yea, I don't do well with change either … especially on these infernal devices.
uncle fester
As an operational excellence guy - I think it looks good enough, could be better (a little darker fonts etc...) but really is good enough. Where they dropped the ball is they did nothing to set expectations or explain any changes. Before it went down, there should have been a posting explaining what was going to happen, when the site went back up the first post should have been 'hey there - here's what's new...' Really though, we'll figure it out and I'm just happy it's here 🙂
Russell Davis
The smaller text is harder for my old eyes to read.

livemusic
I also was surprised when it just showed up. I prefer the old one so far, it was easy to navigate and see if new posts occurred. Maybe all that will be here or already is, but I haven't seen any explanation. I also find the font too small.
