merciful-evans Posted June 14, 2019 Posted June 14, 2019 weird. FWIW, I think 'Leave It Be' is a better title.
duane v Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 I'm looking forward to this movie, and curious to see what primary age groups attend. I really dig the Beatles, but I know these types of movies don't play some of the great songs that weren't singles. Instead they play songs like Love Me Do and She Loves You which I think are total crap.

merciful-evans Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 the premise of the story is a bit like Goodnight Sweetheart (a uk sitcom) where a young man time travels to wartime (WW2) uk and plays Beatles songs on the piano. Of course, he claims to have written them.

Karloff Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 could you imagine being the only person in the world with memory of those songs. next band practice, "hey guys I've written a few tunes. this one is called While my guitar gently weeps. and here's one thats been laying around for awhile. I call it Penny Lane.

"that's different from your usual style. its got potential, but go for a rewrite with some power chords"

pippy Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 The film has the potential to be an amusing bit of relatively undemanding entertainment. If everyone concerned in its production was on top form then my guess is that it will be very enjoyable. Pip.
