Navy Vet. Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 5 years ago I bought my first Gibson, an LG-2 acoustic. I had a Martin, it was great, but I played the LG-2 and bought it on the spot. I will never get rid of it. I did sell the Martin. Back in May before The Who concert in Nashville I played a 1957 Les Paul Jr at Carters Vintage Guitars. Last week I bought a Les Jr tobacco burst, 1500.00 is less than the 4800.00 Carters wanted for the 57. All my life I was a Tele man, but now I love the Jr. and I love Gibson guitars. My friends think I’ve lost my mind digging a single pup guitar. But if the Les was good enough for Leslie West and John Lennon, it’s good enough for me.
'Scales Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 I reckon Juniors are awesome. Congrats and welcome mate.
Navy Vet. Posted June 19, 2019 Author Posted June 19, 2019 Carters’s is a trip, guitars everywhere, some I’ve only dreamed of playing. I get off just being in the place. What was your rate in the Navy.
