With a Sunrise pickup in the both of them........a very good pickup for a rock n' roll band playing acoustic guitars.

Long live da Stones!

I have read that that Keith used to use his Sunrise with a Demeter Tube preamp, apparently that is the go, or was...don't know about now.

Yep. long live the Stones!

Someone gave me the Voodoo Lounge DVD, which is the pretty usual Stones set, but in the box were 2 cd's I just discovered!!! Off to the car - perfect! All in glorious tetrahydraphonic.

You've got to love The Stones.   Ronnie Wood is the youngest member and he's 72......and he's the newest Stone---only been with them about 45 years.  And they are rockin' harder than ever.  When all the other great and legendary names have faded-away, "The Stones" will still be part of the planet's culture.  Nothing against The Beatles, Beach Boys, etc., or my personal favorites, Cash and Dylan, BUT, The Stones are incredible.

I like the music of The Stones, but I'm far from a die-hard fan. However, I think it's incredibly cool how they have been a constant of our culture for so long, and how they keep influencing people from all age groups. They keep doing their thing, despite current trends. I like that.

They were OK - I suppose.

Man!!!  You got to see them do Monkey Man! How awesome is that?

I gotta hand it to them. They played here in Raleigh on July 1st four years ago.  That's some serious heat and humidity for anyone, let alone for 70+ year old gents. I must have drank 7 gallons of water.

I saw the Stones in Chicago around  1980. My high school friends and I drove down from Madison. We had no idea where we were going or really how to get there. It was a great night. The Stones are the greatest rock and roll band in history. I have been arguing that point with my students for over 20 years. They, or their parents, most all say the Beatles, but some say Led Zeppelin or The Who. They're wrong, of course.
