JuanCarlosVejar Posted July 4, 2019 Posted July 4, 2019 Folks, Check out this photo from Hitparader (May 1972) featuring Mickey J holding a belly down Hummingbird. You can peak a bit through the soundhole just enough to see thicker bracing. I think this bird was probably one he kept around the house because there are other pictures of him serenading Bianca with it. JC
uncle fester Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 It's always cool to see these musicians in their younger days, I like the guitar too
62burst Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 Leave it to Juan Carlos to uncover one more photo of Mick (pre-Sir Mick) with a Hummingbird. It might be a bird of a different feather, but still worth tacking on to Em7's mother Bird thread. And on the topic of the mother Bird thread- was there not an era when the headstock was more broad, as on late '60's to '70's J-45's, and if there is a noticeable difference between the the 2nd image I'd posted in Em7's thread (it's just a screen capture pic of the vid), and the pic Dave posted below it (Mick with Paisley) ?
