Label fell off or faded so bad it's illegible, so now they are taking resistance measurements. However, tolerances and measuring environments make a definitive ID all but impossible. Just an out the box question, with respect, if you charge $200 for a pick up, could you not find a better way of identifying it than the cheapest paper label on the planet. How about a stamped foil label with a good glue?....Please Might be 20 cents more per pickup Other parts of the guitars have undergone various updates, but the simplest is stuck (or not) in the 60's This really is a major issue, check your own forums and other websites for a vast amount of discussion about it.
