pippy
Hadn't seen that for years! Good fun! And who would have thought that the British Prime Minister of the time, Harold Wilson, was such a fan? Check him out at the 02:57 mark... Pip.
Karloff
I always loved how after watching the entire Let it Be movie hearing them working out the tunes, off key, off time, sounding like crap. but when it came time to play live they kicked butt. so many books have been written about how they were good, why they were good, what they meant ... Paul summed it up best when he said "we were just a good little Rock n Roll band" Edited July 9, 2019 by Karloff
LarryUK
Seems odd that it's 50 years ago. Still better than most bands now. 1

Murph
And, it was a chilly day for a roof top jam...
Twang Gang
I might be mistaken, but I believe I've read that was the last live performance that they did? People in the streets had no idea what they were witnessing.
01GT eibach
The most interesting thing to me was that for a band that had not played live in three or so years played so well in such bad weather conditions for an off-the-cuff- performance. Then ... finding out how the Beatles recorded ... they used a live "everyone playing together" track as the basis of their recordings, with individual layers laid upon that initial track. Hence, they were playing together most of the time -- very different from today where everyone is playing alone during the recording of the album. Anyway, the fact they sounded so good on that rooftop is testament to how much they played together, and how talented all of them were. Retired
It's been a long time since I saw this, What a great video to share again. We got to see both Paul and Ringo perform a few times but never John or George.
