merciful-evans Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 Since buying this Squier Esprit (a what?! ... yeah I know) some years back, I have finally completed my last mod; new tuners. While attending to this it occurred to me that this guitar had become truly international.Guitar: Korean (South Korea)Pickups: English (Creamery)Bridge: Japanese (Gotoh)Electrics: American (Switchcraft)Tuners: German (Schaller)I have happily spent more on mods than the purchase price of the guitar because it's (carcass) is simply exceptional. Its the equal of my USA guitars & I am not going to sell it. post mod pic pre mod pick (with Duncan Designed pups & no screw slots on bridge posts) Finding tuners that wouldn't foul themselves on this snakehead took a lot of careful measuring up: Yes, this is a Fender copy of a Gibson style build. It was only in production for one year (and that was about 14 years ago).
Marky Forrest Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 Nice! Since you really like the feel of the guitar, I think you made the right decision to mod it to suit you even more. Well done.
