MCK
Just wondering. News being what it is I wonder where Gibson is on the P&L and how they're coping. Maybe while we're suffering they are suffering a bigger problem. Not that I condone the lack of proper PR but I am just wondering if they are too busy trying to save the ship... Anyone know? markt
I found this article from back in September, looks like they were going to hire 200!! Don't know if the current economy had changed that plan? http://www.bizjournals.com/nashville/stories/2008/09/08/daily18.html Mark T
vagabond
As far as I know, Gibson is still hiring for a multitude of positions at all of their locations. While I'm sure the economic recession is having some impact on the amount of guitars they are selling, I doubt Gibson, or any of its affiliated companies, are suffering to the point where they're trying to "save ship." They survived the great depression and everything thereafter, I imagine they'll be around through all this.
