donbym Posted July 16, 2019 Posted July 16, 2019 I've got a 1981 ES 335. LOVE this guitar! My question is: my 335 has two toggle switches - one by the volume/tone knobs and the other by the cutaway. Why do most 335s only have the one toggle switch by the knobs, and why does mine have both?
kidblast Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Question... did you buy this new? Can you post a picture to show this? (you can use a facebook account, just change https to http from the "view image" link If you picked it up second hand, the oddly located one could be a coil cut or phase switch, possible it was a modification done by (if there was) a previous owner. Otherwise your guess is as good as mine!
