guitar_randy
How about building an sg thats thick as a les paul with a maple top and mahagony body and neck? Oh,and no chambering.Weight relief holes ok. Did they ever try that one yet? Nice, thick ,sg. Could call it a guitar_randy signature. I'll even sign the headstock
retrosurfer1959
wouldn't that be just a double cut LP basically?
hellion102792
I've seen it done by some other company once, I think someone here has one (it's in their sig as "*brand here* SG- built like a Les Paul"). There was also a pic someone posted in the SG forum of one with a maple top. Not sure if it had the thick 'hog back though.

Thundergod
Yamaha has one of those (kindof) and it is a legend all on its own...
guitar_randy
Perhaps this? http://uk.yamaha.com/en/products/musical_instruments/guitars_basses/el_guitars/sg_s/?mode=overview Yea,thats sort of the idea, but I mean sg body, just thick like a lp. Double cut lp wouldn't look same as a beefed up thick sg. I'd just like to see one and try one.
KSG_Standard
The Gibson Johnny A is almost a semi-hollow SG style....
