Is this a Gibson p/up?

In 1997, in a dusty old music store that used to be a Gibson dealer, I bought a set of pickups in a box that said “Gibson Blues Pickups” (this may  have been handwritten but box disappeared long ago). 

These appear to be very heavily wax-potted. There are NO polepieces on the cover. 

I’m thinking now that they aren’t Gibsons but also curious as to what they might be. This pickup reads 5.88k but used to read 6.07k. I’ll  try to upload photos.
