Remolution
Ugh. I bought an SG Standard from a guy. I checked the guitar over albeit quickly but missed a crack in the neck that the luthier caught. I feel like such a dope. It’s still hard to see when I look at the pics. The owner claims he didn’t know; he never dropped it etc. He did refund me for the cost of the repair. At any rate, the luthier is going to repair it for me. I guess it’s a players guitar now rather than a collectible 😞 May as well install a bigsby.
Leonard McCoy
The first photo barely show a hairline reflecting back. Inspecting the guitar under blacklight will fully reveal its history including any hard-to-spot repairs and defects. Remolution
Yeah. I didn’t see it either. It’s a hairline but goes through when you look at the truss rod. The luthier pointed it out to me. Hopefully it looks good and I will continue to not see it!
