I'm trying to dig up info on the occurance of stcky nitro finishes and the common process used to remedy the problem for "any" nitrocelluose finished instrument (not just Gibson). I remember links (in the days of the old Gibson Forum) to tricks that guitar/bass owners used to remedy a sticky neck, i.e., buffing, polishing, etc. Also, is there a FAQ or Q&A section anywhere on the Gibson site that address nitrocellulose finishes.
